boconnell 1,632 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Nice finish for Gilman. I like to see careers end with a positive.

boconnell 1,632 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 With the Gilman-talk and a one match break, I expected Piccininni to be a lot more fired up for this match. He looks like he's ready to hit the buffet. He just got soundly beat. He fought every point and was trying to throw late when it was all he had left. Not a good performance by any means, but not a guy mailing it in. just a guy getting beat.
Housebuye 2,449 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Lol @ Gilman being s nice kid off the mat. No he's not. That's ok, but let's not lie 1 Grecojones reacted to this
lightweight 22 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Picc needed to bring at least a switchblade to that match with Gilman, not even close to a contest.
lightweight 22 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 I meant 2. 3 has been great. I edited it. Yeah, and they are obviously not reading our feed because they are still at it. Looking for an excuse to switch mats.

boconnell 1,632 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 If a guy wrestles on both knees in neutral they ought to give him a 5 count for stalling. Get off your knees, show you can score there, or you're stalling.
Housebuye 2,449 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Brock looked hurt. Was mostly watching the Micic match, but good job on that late takedown by Brock
boconnell 1,632 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Brock looked hurt. Was mostly watching the Micic match, but good job on that late takedown by Brock He tries to go rubber knee too often. He did there and it may have cost him at the end. Hopefully it's the kind of thing a few weeks of postseason rest can heal.
wrestlingnerd 3,011 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 The first minute of Jack vs. Meredith is already the best match of the day. These two don't like each other.
lightweight 22 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 The first minute of Jack vs. Meredith is already the best match of the day. These two don't like each other. The match is good but I've had to turn the volume off. Too many stupid "Jack" jokes.
wrestlingnerd 3,011 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 You could say Eierman is pretty good on top.

lightweight 22 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 They FINALLY call a defensive pin at NCAAs. About friggin' time. That was Hnath. He's an excellent official, done multiple nationals. Not his first rodeo. And willing to make the right calls whether or not they are popular.

boconnell 1,632 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Did kessenich in the post match interview with Jack seriously declare that Kevin Jack got the last laugh over Bryce Meredith? He's the 2 seed in a Saturday morning match for the 2nd time in a row. Last laugh would be beating Meredith to make the finals next year.
wrestlingnerd 3,011 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 I'm impressed with Eierman totally shutting Ashnault down like that. He is going to be a tough out next year with some more refinement. Ashnault stopped improving some time ago.
Conrad51 5 Report post Posted March 18, 2017 Can anyone with replay ability comment on Jack's defensive fall. I am 2 rows on the floor and I didn't even think it was a full second, let alone the time refs usually want to call a defensive pin. I love the call but man it was really quick. Can someone confirm. Question for someone with the brackets: Is Meredith the highest finishing double digit seed (e.g. #10) this year?
