Ellwood City (PA) Area School District is searching for a contracted certified special education teacher to work in a K-2 life skills support/multiple handicapped support classroom. Experience with low incidence students is preferred. Responsibilities include planning, organizing and implementing an instructional program for students identified with intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. Only full applications will be accepted which includes letters of interest, resume, standard Pa application, college transcripts, three letters of reference, valid PA certification, and current Act 34, 114, 151, 168, and PDE -6004 under ACT 24. Deadline for applications is June 3, 2017. Application must be completed on www.pa-educator.net.

A Lawrence County School District has an opening for a full time teaching position available at the start of the 2017-18 school year. This position requires the candidate to: • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and utilizing data to improve student achievement • Assess and analyze individual student data • Design and implement literacy interventions • Oversee literacy activities, projects, and programs • Support a school-wide Title One program through development of school-wide goals/plans, implementation of the plan, data collection, and evaluation of goals/plan • Have in-depth and specific knowledge in content, curriculum, instruction, and assessment • Work in co-teaching environment PA Elementary Education certificate is required and a Reading Specialist certificate is preferred. Only full applications will be considered. This includes letter of interest, resume, standard PA application, college transcripts, three letters of reference, valid PA certificate, and current ACT 34, 114, 151 and PDE-6004 under ACT 24. Deadline for applications is July 7, 2017.
