HawkFanactic1 63 Report post Posted May 24, 2017 What are the best wrestling clubs out there for highschoolers without mentioning RTC's where recruits can workout with college teams? Young Guns, Dark Knights, Buxton's place, Izzy Style, St Ed and SPG rooms, G2, and some place down in Florida related to Lake Highland 1 stp reacted to this

HawkFanactic1 63 Report post Posted May 29, 2017 When 6 of the kids on your NHSCA dual team are from your state...that tells me all I need to know about how good a club is.
GuillermoBilletas 149 Report post Posted May 29, 2017 That is an absolute joke. Next please. If Blair is the #1 HS team than Kong is the #1 club team
russling 22 Report post Posted May 30, 2017 Quest in Canonsburg area. Schram, Chisko and Beckman were all recent AAs plus a lot of other D1 wrestlers.
hi-liter 11 Report post Posted May 31, 2017 If you have ever read a GB post you know he is being both facetious and sarcastic at the same time. Kong after a couple of successful Disney Duals trips forayed into the NHSCA Duals in 2015 and finished 2nd to the Young Guns. These last 2 years they decided to use the rules to their advantage and open their roster ala Ragin Raisins and Team Nauman. This is becoming more and more popular. Bad Karma was all PA and has evolved in to Team Shutt with guys from all over. Even Indiana used out of State guys this year. South Florida had Embree on their roster but I am not sure if he showed. Even the Young Guns have felt the need to keep up grabbing some top IA talent from their club out west the last 2 years. IL Outsiders had a MO State Champ but he does live in Illinois. BLO seems to do a great job every year with all PA talent. I also believe the Bad Boys team was strictly from Michigan. I am more impressed with the top 8 finishes of the teams that all come from the same State. On the other hand (not sure about BLO) these are not club teams either. They are all-star teams also, it is just that they pick only from their State.
Konquest 100 Report post Posted May 31, 2017 IL Outsiders prides themselves on being all IL. DJ Shannon is an IL kid who wrestles for a private school over the MO border. Similar to how Gilman lived in Iowa but wrestled for Skutt Catholic in Omaha, NE.
HawkFanactic1 63 Report post Posted June 2, 2017 Kong had kids from CA and Wyoming amongst others. What exactly does that prove about said coaches ability to actually coach? Nothing. Probably offers a free flight and room/board
hammerlockthree 1,963 Report post Posted June 2, 2017 Kong isn't a club.

Housebuye 2,079 Report post Posted June 3, 2017 If Blair is the #1 HS team than Kong is the #1 club teamBlair is an actual team. Yes they are from around the country but they live, train and go to school together. Kong is an all star team. Nothing wrong with that, but they aren't a club. Bear96 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2017 Not necessarily an answer to the original question, so I apologize in advance, but Mile High Wrestling Club in Colorado does a pretty solid job. 3 Junior World Team members in Ryan Deakin, Maya Nelson and Cohlton Schultz ain't too bad. Their dual teams have been mixing it up with the aforementioned groups for years with some success-especially coming out of Colorado which isn't traditionally a hammer type of state. Zebra 545 Report post Posted June 23, 2017 Monster Garage in California...... Valencias, Pico, Olivas, Vasquez (current #1 112) among others. I do not believe this will become a long-term club once the aforementioned kids are all gone. They have had a ton of success in a short period of time with a group from the same neighborhood and some dads willing to "Make it happen" so to speak. Nothing wrong with that but in two or three years will this still even exist?
