Round of 16 Juniors

Penn recruit Zapf just beat Kyle Biscoglia from Iowa.

Camacho from CT just lost to a kid from Wisconsin

D'Emilio lost to a kid from Idaho

Upsets all over the place

I have set aside funds to have six Green Bay Packers be my pall bearers, that way they can let me down one final time.

The way USAW did weigh-ins this year might play a part if you get a kid right off the scale. They weighed in Saturday night at scratch and then have a 2lbs allowance this morning, that's 36 hours between weighing in. On top of that some kids didn't even wrestle yesterday due to low numbers in their weight classes.

Yeah, that could cause some problems if a wrestler isn't used to that.

O'Neil from MN just beat a pretty good wrestler Andrew Merola from NJ by a score of 7-2.

Gabe Tagg is in the Consi's against Koontz from Wisconsin. The Tagg bros. are damn good, so him getting knocked out of the winners in Round of 16 says something. Cassioppi beat Costello 12-2 in the battle of Iowa Hwt recruits.

Glory was ahead 10-6 at time of fall.  For some reason, FloArena always has the match's winner as having the higher score at the time of fall.

I don't know of any tournament that has weigh-ins like that.

Saunders won Cadet 126.

Carson Manville just tore thru Medora 11-0 at 132. Medora had Askren in his corner, but Carson is just too good at that level.

Worth pointing out Carson Kharchlava lost his first match at 160 to Harper of KS 11-12. Since then he's fired back series of wins and will at least place in top 6. May see Harper again in a rematch depending on how the next round plays out. Not bad as a first year Junior losing round 1 of a 101 kid bracket.
