Peso 331 Report post Posted August 11, 2017 Hey, it may not be much, but we have one weight where we are often 2 or even 3 deep in world medal level wrestlers. 163/74KG the USA has had quite a run. In the 76 Trials, Stan Dzeidzic, Wade Schalles and Lee Kemp battled it out. A few years later, Monday/Schultz, now JB, Kyle and David. I'd love to see an open World Championship. As many as you want to enter. What a deal that would be. 1 PRyan2012 reacted to this

BigTimeFan 1,032 Report post Posted August 11, 2017 The depth at 74kg has always been impressive. A few other weights had from time to time had some serious depth as well.

Coach_J 2,073 Report post Posted August 11, 2017 Could throw in Doug Blubaugh--the exact weight was 73 kilos, but essentially part of the legacy. 2 Peso and KTG119 reacted to this
tec87 349 Report post Posted August 11, 2017 I always knew that this was historically one of our strongest and successful weight classes but it's really cool to see it listed out like that. Wow!
