Is there a  reason that I can no longer post?

57 (Gilman), vs Fix, Lee, Cruz, Graff? (Graff may be better served if he goes 61). (I expect Fix to try both Jr, & Sr).
61 (Maple), vs Waters, Brewer, (Does the 2 kilo 2nd day allowance allow Maple makes a world team, this year only)?
65 (Retherford), vs Stieber,
70 (Green), vs Nolf, JO, Kennedy, GHulk?
74 (JB), vs Dieringer, IMar
79 (Dake), vs Hall? Reader?
86 (DT) vs Heflin, PD3, Dean, Valencia, Nickal, (so much quality here that it might just come down to who is feeling the best that day).
92 (Cox), vs Moore, Gadsen? Zillmer? Burak(s)?
97 (Snyder), vs Gadsen? Hall? Cassar, Marsden? (Does Gadsen drop to 92)?
125 Gwiz, vs Bradley, Nelson, Telford. (I don't think Stevenson goes this time around).

A lot can happen between now and then.  With 10 weights though, it will be interesting.

Ok... I'll play...

57 Gilman vs. NaTo:  Picking NaTo.
61 Brewer vs. Maple:  Picking Maple.
65 Zain vs Stieber:  Picking Stieber (for the last time... after this next cycle, it's Zain's)
70 Green vs Nolf:  Picking Green (barely).  I personally believe that Nolf is going to take it after this next cycle.  Just a little more FS experience, and it's his.
74 Burroughs vs Dieringer.  Picking Burroughs
79 Dake vs Hall:  Picking Dake (barely).  Freestyle is Hall's style, and quite frankly, I think he closes whatever gap may have existed in previous years.  After this next cycle, it's Hall's.
86 Taylor vs Nickal:  Picking Taylor.
92 Cox vs Moore:  UPSET ALERT.  Picking Moore.
97 Snyder vs Gadsen:  UPSET ALERT. Picking Snyder.  (hehe... the only way Gadsen wins now is if Snyder is injured... bigly)
125 Gwiz vs Medbery:  Picking Gwiz.

What this means is this:
57kg:  We are BACK on the international map
61kg:  May be our weakest weight, for now.
65kg:  May be our 2nd weakest weight, for now... but, both are capable of medal contention
70kg:  We have two+ guys capable of medals
74kg:  We have two+ guys capable of medals
79kg:  We have two+ guys capable of medals, given Dake's Sr. International experience, and Mark "Freaking" Hall being Mark "Freaking" Hall.
86kg:  We have a medal contender in Taylor
92kg:  We have two+ guys capable of medals
97kg:  We have the best wrestler on the planet currently taking this spot.
125kg:  We are BACK on the international map

125kg: we've been on the map for awhile still with Tervel manning the weight winning bronze twice and taking 5th like 4 times or so. This just means we aren't having the drop off expected after Tervel retired.

I have no inside information, but I think with the new weigh-in rules, Graff would probably go 61KG.  And actually, I kind of expect NaTo to go that route as well, although I'm less confident about that.  Will be interesting to see if they wrestle each other at Medved.

57 Gilman v.s NATO - Gilman beats whoever gets there. He will have a year in the style. Other competitions to hone his craft and is in the best training environment for 57.
61 Graff v.s Wright - Really have no clue but if Graff lands here it is probably his.
65 Zain vs Stieber - Zain. He'll be a little bigger and is just better. Solid competition from Steiber will be good for his development.
70 Green vs Oliver - Green. He really has no real competition in the US. Making the finals was no fluke seeing as how he has medal'd before. He is comfortable at this weight and a little bigger than Oliver.
74 Burroughs vs Martinez - the champ easily over anybody. I think Martinez has a good style for FS so I put him here. It really doesn't matter who though.
79 Dake vs Reader - Dake easily. Nobody in the US without the initials JB or JC can beat him from 86 down.
86 Taylor vs Heflin - Taylor easily. Nobody in the US with out the initials KD, JB, JC can beat him from 86 down.
92 Cox vs Moore - Cox. He is not spectacular but is just really really good. It seems like every tournament (including worlds and the Olympics) he has one bad match. But it is the best out of three and Moore probably couldn't (yet) beat even his bad match.
97 Snyder vs Gadsen - The pound for pound easily. Duh.
125 Gwiz vs Bradley - Gwiz owns this weight until Stevenson gets just a little more maturity.

The young guns are out there. I could see them making the Olympic team as well as a world team or two before then. Just not quite yet.

Why would Gadsen go 213? Seriously. He is losing by 15 points when he could go to 202 and be a very slight underdog to Cox. I see people putting Gadsen at 213. He really has a chance at 202 to make a world team. Plus there is no bye to the finals at 202 correct!!!

Do you happen to know if both Zach Rey at 125kg and Nick Marable (70kg) will ever compete again? With having now 79kg and 92kg. I don't know yet whether Hall, Dieringer, Reader, I.Martinez will compete at 79 or 74kg. But either way they would all have a better chance vs. Dake. Besides I always like having Burroughs. Also wonder if Andrew Howe will compete?

I would put Gadsen at more than a slight underdog but I have gotten used to people underestimating Cox. I mean what with the NCAA results and following it up with a Bronze in the Olympics and another in worlds. On second thought, yeah Cox is a bit of a slacker.

I think it's mostly frustration. He is capable of beating anyone, but seems to shut down at times, even in big matches.

If he can get past that, he will be almost unbeatable.

I agree with you but there is no chance for him at 213 wrestling a fresh Snyder. Who on this planet can beat a fresh rested Snyder? Gadsen always wrestled Cox close and has beat him in folk twice. I like his chances but favor Cox of course.

Yeah, I get that.... no chance versus a slight chance.
