NU de-commit

Recommended Posts

The way I see it, this is going to continue happening, while kids continue to verbal as early as they are. Teams take different paths from when one first verbally commits to when they are ready to sign. Look at DT, he was committed to ISU then Cael headed East. Honestly no real way around the issue. It is definitely a letdown, especially for a program like Northwestern, who is trying to jump on that next tier.

The academic rigors of Northwestern are tough for any D1 athlete.

The cost of tuition and living expenses is another factor.

Great campus, education, and alumni is the attraction if you can actually afford Northwestern's and Evanston's price tag.

I doubt anyone decommits due to academic rigors.  It is a factor in transfers out, but not in decommits.

There's only one NU and it ain't NE.  You really gotta click on the link before replying.

I should've clicked, yeah. But Northwestern is NW, not NU! Nebraska has been "NU" since I was a little **** first following college sports in the early 70s.

You know what the N on Nebraska's helmets stands for? Nawledge!
