If you had to show non-wrestlers the best wrestling matches ever what matches would you show?

That Heinselman vs. McHenry bout at W#1 this past weekend was a really good one.

I honestly feel like this is not getting the respect and adoration it deserves.

That's cuz wrestling fans don't know how to connect with non-wrestling people. Non-wrestling fans are not going to be drawn in or be entertained by most high level matches initially. They will only after getting a better understanding of the sport.

Holy crap.  I'm sore just from watching that.  Imagine how poor Vertus must have felt.

That is awesome. Apologies to Jones.

I have set aside funds to have six Green Bay Packers be my pall bearers, that way they can let me down one final time.

Another  bout that  comes to mind for similarity would be Moore UC Davis vs Lang Northwestern in the 141 lbs final just a few years ago.    Once the turns got going from the top position, there was no stopping.   Just incredibly dominating efforts from the top man.     I can only imagine a feeling of demoralization setting in early and then overwhelming the bottom man up and through the conclusion of the bout.    wow!

I would love to see the Darryl Pope v. Rico Chiaparelli video.  For that day and age, one of the best scrambles I had ever seen.

coverage of the Rico / Pope match starts around the 27 minute mark and the scramble is around the 29 minute mark.
