Why were they calling backpoints in the 141 match? Don't you have to warn the guy first and count when they scramble on their back?

Pretty sure that was the wrong call

It was hard to tell with the camera angle

I'd like to see it again, but it looked like the ref counted Danger 1-2-3 then 4 back points. That's the exact position you wanna see the new TD called in.

EDIT: Either way, Zeke was not happy with it.

Iowa fans are still arrogant; it's just that their team isn't as good.

It sure looked to me that there is no way there was time to call danger and do a three count before he started swiping, but like you I'd have to see again.

I assumed it was just 2TD. Thought it was a close match until the start of the 3rd when the announcer said 9-0 or whatever

Look like Beazley gets the nod despite losing the wrestleoff

Beazley won the MSU Open last weekend ahead of Striggow (placed third), and in the finals pinned Ritter from Wisconsin, who beat Striggow in the semis.

So I would think that the starting position is back up in the air.

Hard to tell exactly what was going on in the Zahid v Amine match.  From my perspective, however, Zahid took almost all the risks while Amine did next to nothing.  I don't blame Amine but I do think he should have been hit with stalling a couple times.

The fact that he is a true freshman and has only wrestled unattached so far. Michigan does have a history of pulling shirts, but if Assad gets healthy it may still be better for them to let Mattin continue to develop.
