Holy crap, color me incredibly surprised that Graff is going to make 57 kilos with the new weigh in rules.

I too am very surprised about Graff at 57 kg. He wrestled at 141 with the same weigh-in rules at one point not that long ago.

Will be a good test for Graff, both to see how he does at 57kg with these weigh-in rules and also because El Ouarraqe from France will probably be there.... he won this weight at this tourney at 57kg last year and gave Khinchegashvili (Olympic Champion) a decent match a few years back so he would qualify as solid competition.

 

Perrelli got bronze here last year.  Will also be interesting to see how he fares.  Hopefully the two Americans can get on opposite sides of the bracket.

Looks to me like this tournament is still under the old structure of weigh-ins in the afternoon and then 1 day of wrestling the following day.
