Strange things happening in Iowa City. Brands all paranoid opponents are bad mouthing Iowa during recruiting (pretty sure that has been going on for over 100 years in all sports).  Bothering guys training and asking them if they are happy. Lee is their spokesmen and he's yet to win a bout for the Hawkeyes.

Flo did a big bit on Brands where he learns all about the wrestling recruiting landscape from Larry's binder, then all of a sudden we are all Strolling with Sam Stoll. Hard to get more "canned" f** than that.

 

Seems obvious that Larry Lee is in their ears leading the Brands attempt to re "Brand" their program, pun intended.

I don’t see the proof or the issue wth Iowa rebranding we rh Larry’s hell.

 

Iowa has a branding issue right now. It isn’t based in reality, but rather Iowa’s previous branding attempts.

 

Of corse Iowa has fun in the room. Of course they aren’t all Gilmans.

 

Good on Brands and co for (finally) realizing the issue and trying to address it. I want more teams that are competitive for gold.

 

Right now there are 2 contenders for gold and maybe 5 or so for the other podium spots.

 

Would be cool to have a bit more parity. It will make NCAAs even better.
