TobusRex 2,108 Report post Posted December 2, 2017 Alright, this one is for all the marbles. Since Dake is the loser of all theoretical matches, and since Hall seems to be the loser of all theoretical matches....Dake vs Hall. Got Dake on this one.... BigTenFanboy 1,790 Report post Posted December 2, 2017 Considering the fact that Dake has a head to head win over Burroughs, I'm not sure why it's even a question. Dake. 1 AllISeeIsBronze reacted to this
AllISeeIsBronze 65 Report post Posted December 2, 2017 Dake. Stronger, more athletic, better scrambler, more moves in his arsenal, and the worst stylistic match up for Hall; Dake is fine to win by holding a lead. His defense is too solid for Hall to try and get through. People say Hall knows how to win when the time counts, and that's true, but Dake's done that four times now. treep2000 1,152 Report post Posted December 2, 2017 The sheer fact that this comparison is even being made (i.e. latest 4x'er vs. a rising sophomore) is pure lunacy... but... that tells you that Hall is already in the conversation, which is sayin' something. treep2000 1,152 Report post Posted December 2, 2017 thanks for the lesson in BS. I also think the 20lbs+ Hall has over good ol' Logie would play a factor in things. 1 AllISeeIsBronze reacted to this

BigTimeFan 1,141 Report post Posted December 2, 2017 What weight are they wrestling at? Dake vs Hall at 79kg (is that the new weight)? You have to pick Dake if this match happens in the next 24 months. After that still probably Dake but Dake gets older and Hall gets closer to his prime. Problem is that Dake is capably of beating everyone in the world IMHO. Dake beat Cox. Dake beat Taylor. I think that Dake is damn close to being able to take out JB. So why wouldn't he be able to beat Hall?

AllISeeIsBronze 65 Report post Posted December 3, 2017 I'm not even a huge fan of Dake (mainly because of his behavior at times), but he beat Tsargush while having a broken hand. He outscrambled both Tsargush and Taylor, who are better than Hall imo. Give it a few years, sure. Until then, I feel most posters here have recency bias. jcjcjc 122 Report post Posted December 4, 2017 If Dake beat a different country's 2 x bronze medalist up a weight, we'd go nuts about the victory for years, but he beat our own 2 x bronze medalist up a weight, so we don't really care.
