Looking at him on the podium next to Cassar, he clearly has a bigger frame. His shoulders are considerably bigger. I think his length would be even more deadly at 184 and I don't think he'd lose much with the drop.

Looks as though he may get the 97 spot. The chances of Bo going up are non existent.

Down a class or two he always looked half gassed out.

I have set aside funds to have six Green Bay Packers be my pall bearers, that way they can let me down one final time.

Wow...he dominated this tournament. Cael has options that's for sure.

How do we know? He wasn't on the mat very long.

Casser will start at 197 and Shakur will go up to challenge Snyder in place of a pudgy Nevills?

Shakur should listen to Bryce Meredith. He was the first guy who came to mind when Meredith was talking about the value of smaller schools.

This... I’m sure this guy could shine at a mid major program. There are world class coaches at many of these schools and I imagine he would flourish with the extra attention.

Bo would rattle the wrestling world if he went up.

I think he'd get hammered. He already looks skinny as hell out there, imo. On the other hand he doesn't seem to lack power at 184. Maybe he'd do alright, but I can't see Nickal dominating the competition at 197.

Complete sidetrack, but I’ll indulge. I would be more confident picking Bo Nickal to win 197 than 184 right now the way Myles Martin is looking so far.

I wonder how Myles does against Moore in the room.

Myles Martin going be tough match.

Loved the fact Nickal was rooting on Cassar and Rasheed.

Tweet. By Chris Pyle showing Cael hold his head when Shak pinned in semis was weird. On Twitter. Was almost like now I have a 197 lb issue. Have to watch it.

Guess I edited my post while you were responding. Bo would probably do alright, but he'd have a harder time getting bonus points against the bigger/stronger guys. But wouldn't surprise me if one of those bigger guys didn't do bad things to Bo on the mat, either. "Hammered" is probably way too strong a word though :D

You may have a point on it being easier to win 197 than 184.

Ok, found my answer by Shakur himself. At about 2:15 into the video he says that he's about 10 lbs light at 197. He also talks about why he's not interested in transferring from Pin State.

What an awesome interview. Rasheed is the kind of guy every room would be fortunate to have.

I hope he gets the nod, but I get why if he loses the wrestleoff he won’t. Sets a bad precedent

I’m sure Cael will figure it out
