I don't think nolf will tech pantaleo, that's getting a little greedy imo (not saying it's impossible). I'll also take a healthy massa over cenzo in a rematch but I don't think that happens at the dual. Penn State should win handily.

Mostly agree.  I doubt Nickal pins Abounader.  He hasn't been pinned since his freshman year.  Probably more like a 10-4 decision or something.  Nolf probably either pins or majors Pantaleo.  TF seems less likely. Lee can light it up but Profaci is solid defensively.  Yanni beat him 10-4 at CKV, so maybe that stays as a decision as well.

Just to play devil's advocate for what would need to happen to tilt this toward Michigan...

It's not impossible, but it would obviously requires Massa to wrestle.  If he's not 100% I'm not sure why he would go against Cenzo.  Also Michigan lost by about 100 to Lehigh, so there's that as well.

I don't know why, but I like Profaci way more than I should. Feel like he can give Lee a challenge.

Yianni pounded Lee in a very active match (13-6?), and dominated (lots of riding time) Profaci in a less-active match (10-4).  Lee's offense seemed better than Profaci's defense.

I can't see any way they don't pull his shirt. The Cortez injury looked pretty bad and he wasn't been wrestling that well even when he was healthy. Doesn't make sense to keep the shirt on at this point.

I was expecting them to pull it even without the Cortez injury

I feel bad for Cortez. He was an excellent high school talent and I think without injuries would've been a multiple time AA, but Cael needs to make the best decision for the team, and that is pretty clearly Lee.

Nice post.

Yeah, have no idea what's gonna happen but should be a real fun dual anyway. Maybe Cassar has the spot, I don't know, but really want see Rasheed in there now. (Ok, admitting some Long Island bias.)

Agree on Nolf. I think Cenzo just has a style that gives Massa and Imar fits. PSU wins handily. I missed the news they pulled Lee's shirt. Not surprised. They need any points they can get in an awesome team race this year.

Jason Nolf by pin or tech. No disrespect to Alec Pantaleo intended, it's just that Nolf is a machine and I don't think it's possible for anyone to slow the pace down enough to prevent a major at the very least. It's hard to remember when Nolf last won a match by less than a major.

He only had 2 non-bonuses last season, both Kemererererer matches.

Thanks!  I also read somewhere that Nolf is like 10-15 pins away from the all-time career pins record at PSU. Zain is up there too, but Nolf also has another season to run up his numbers.
