Remove Luke Pletcher from the list.

also Cruz & Hall, believe they were the first two off the list, before there even was a list.

Removing Snyder and Pletcher from the list.   The All Star exhibition matches don't count; that's the official  NCAA word (as opposed to mine or others on the list).  Two more will definitely come off the list at Big Tens (at 125 and 165).   15 undefeated wresters remain.  Three for PSU, 2 for Iowa, and surprising 0 for Ohio State.

Rutgers 141 pounder Ashnault (By Wrestlestat)has moved into the #1 ranking, 3 weeks before Conference with a 0-0 record.  lol

The Big Ten is a meat grinder.   How many undefeated guys remain after the Big Ten tournament?  Which ones?  How many remain in total across all weights at the end of NCAAs?  Which ones?

one will come off list at 125-who else in B1G is unbeaten at 125 besides Suriano?

My bad.  The only other undefeated guy at 125 is Cruz.  Suriano could stay undefeated if he gets past Lee and Nato.

sure its not part of official record for NCAA seeds & RPI, but still can be considered by coaches in their ranking and for Hodge.  However, this is simply a forum thread about "undefeated wrestlers" (no official v unofficial criteria given) and it was a match and they did lose, thus a poster can have the opinion that they are not undefeated.

What about losses in the practice room?  Do those count too?  How do we know if guys who we think are undefeated haven't lost to team mates?

are those pre announced invents with tickets sold, national broadcasts and results posted following?

but perhaps we should also count as a loss any time a wrestler ducks the competition?

but I do agree, if the thread is about who will go into the NCAA tournament with an "official" undefeated record, then they are still on that list

As you said above - as a fan you can do what you want to.  But the rest of us might not go along.

FWIW, Cruz is still undefeated by my scorecard.

Aren't some early season wrestle offs (intra squad duals) done this way?

The Big Ten is a meat grinder.

I think 4 NCAA champs last year did NOT win Big Ten. and pretty much every year there is at least one case where that happens.

Article (below) on disappearance of undefeated guys in the last few weeks.  Who will be the last man (men) standing?  My quick guess list from strongest to least likelihood would be:

1. Retherford

2. Nickal

3.  Valencia

4. Martinez

5.  Hall

6.  Suriano

7. Cruz

8.  Coon

9. Kemmerer (depends if Nolf wrestles of course)

10. Hidlay

11.  Marinelli

12.  Lewis

13. Renda

14. McFadden

15. Zacherl

Redshirt season, so doesn't count, but today I learned some kid named Tanner Smith was 19-0.  Eastern Michigan. Probably on Tom Ryan's radar.   Never heard of him until today.
