Here is the only story I could find so far.  Hope Reese is okay.  Not sure if was a pre-existing medical condition or something that happened on the mat:

Briefly mentioned it on the semi-nightly Short Time Shots

http://www.mattalkonline.com/podcast/shots/short-time-shots-february-11-2018/

Leading off the show with it, it isn't much, but it's one of those things where I'm pumping the brakes to give the kid, program and family some semblance of privacy.

According to the one Twitter post I saw  from Jason Arkley,of the Athens Messenger, the wrestler collapsed during his match.

Eyewitnesses said no breathing or heartbeat.

They did CPR on the mat.

They also had to use a defibrillator.

They said he was conscious and responsive when they took him to the hospital.

Great job by the medical staff..Sounds like they saved his life..But as everyone knows I'm sure he needs our prayers right now...An AED is an amazing device and have seen it bring back people to life more then once.

What is a prayer going to do?  He needed and continues to need modern medicine and highly trained and skilled people to implement it.

I am sorry, but that is as much of, if not more, a dikhead comment as what sgallan did to you and in almost an identical way as sgallan responded to you.

Hypocritical to say the least.........

I actually second that, he doesn't need prayers, he needs competent medical intervention which is what it sounds like he got. Religion had nothing to do with saving his life.

Pretty sure his family disagrees with part of your statement
