OrangeEffect 18 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 Great weight class. How do you think the top eight get seeded? 1. Martinez 2. McFadden 3. Joseph 4. Walsh 5. Marsteller 6. Marinelli 7. Lewis 8. Wick Gets tough after the top 3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TobusRex 1,835 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 I'd probably put Marinelli at #4 or #5, ahead of Walsh or Marstellar.
jcwrestlingfan 3 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 Can Marinelli really go that high when he lost twice to Massa at the Big 10's? Would it more likely be: 1. Martinez 2. McFadden3. Joseph4. Walsh5. Marsteller 6. Lewis 7. Wick8. Massa
OrangeEffect 18 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 I could see Marinelli as high as 4 based on his overall season. I just figured his big ten finish would drop him lower. I could even see him dropping lower than 6 also. It will be interesting to see what the committee thinks.
Ogalthorpe Haywood 322 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 I think 6 is about where Marinelli falls. Can’t ignore his stellar regular season but also can’t ignore his multiple losses at big tens.
Juanma25 13 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 It'll be interesting to see how they seed 165. Lewis beat Marinelli this past weekend after losing twice to him earlier in the year and his only other losses are to Joseph and Martinez with wins over Marinelli, Wick, Schleifer, Bethea, White, and Wanzeck. The only guy he hasn't wrestled in the B10 is Massa. Not sure Marstellar or Walsh should be seeded over him if seeds are based on this year alone. 1 ironmonkey reacted to this

Marsteller 6. Lewis 7. Wick8. Massa Perhaps not too far off, but we are talking seeds for NCAA & its not just a b10 event. There are others for example Rogers might argue has case to be above Marsteller. No way to fit all those b10 guys in the top 8, Marrinelli tough wrestler but prob not a top 8 seed, just the way it is.
Housebuye 2,128 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 Rogers will be relatively high too I think you are close, but I think two people on your list won't be top

jcwrestlingfan 3 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 Rogers gets hurt by the fact he has a loss to Marinelli. However, a Big 12 championship should account for something. I can see him as either a 6/7 seed
ionel 1,311 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 Rogers gets hurt by the fact he has a loss to Marinelli. However, a Big 12 championship should account for something. I can see him as either a 6/7 seed does hurt him, but he sort've avenged the WY dual loss be winning the Big12, believe only other was early season loss (like Marinelli) to undefeated (prob #2) McFadden. So on paper (and thats how they do seeds) prob looks better than Marsteller & all not top 2 or 3 in b10.

I can see him as either a 6/7 seed Why would you seed Rogers so high? What's his best win? Wanzek of Minnesota? Rogers has losses to Ashworth (Wyoming), Marinelli (Iowa) and McFadden (Virginia Tech). He's probably a 9 or 10 seed.
