Tofurky 596 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) For all the beatings he has taken on this board since his high school days, he certainly has made the most of his third chance. A well deserved congratulations to the young man as he moves on through the backside of the bracket. Chance has also helped Lock Haven to a 15th place as of now, only 1.5 points behind Illinois and two behind both Arizona State and Lehigh. Great job by Coach Moore and his guys. Tofurky 596 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 4-2, beating Richie Lewis in the blood round. Richie Lewis ends his senior year without All-American honors, but had one hell of a career at RU. Chance faces Chandler Rogers in the next round. 1 WildTurkey44 reacted to this

sgallan 592 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 I had him AA. He was what he was in HS. He is what he is now. He knew he wasn't beating IMAR, just a bad styles thing. He put it aside and just went one match at a time.
boconnell 1,422 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Marstellar was already gassing in the 2nd period when Moore made a pointless video challenge to get a break. He comes back fresh for a 4 point tilt and a 9-3 lead. Then he gasses in the 3rd but comfortably wins 9-7. A coach has to know his wrestler. Congrats to Chance on a great comeback year. 1 Old_Marine_Wrestler reacted to this

So many with social media these days love to anonymously bash people who make mistakes. I hope he continues to improve and would love for him to get an NCAA title for Lock Haven. Ridiculous. not exactly with you but it is very American for lack of a better term to build up our heroes, then pounce when flaws are exposed, and then rejoice in the climb back up. little easier to stomach when it's a pro athlete making millions vs a college student. I guess. best to Chance.
