de4856 370 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Probably Gilman right now, but I suspect not for long. I think pulling Lee out of redshirt was a stroke of brilliance, not just for the team, but to give Spencer a full year of experience. This experience and confidence he has gained has to give him an edge over Fix and the other 125'ers next year. I think he will be incredible hard to beat. CA_Wrestler 316 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Gilman right now in freestyle. Lee in folk. Lee still isn't a grown adult. Gilman is and has man strength.
fudge_tunnel 118 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Lee should have stayed in redshirt. He really needed that year to develop...

TBar1977 4,490 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Lee should have stayed in redshirt. He really needed that year to develop... I can spot sarcasm when I see it. Funny too, they asked Spencer about this very thing after his win last nite and he said he thought all along it was the right thing and that virtually everyone agreed on that issue. He's never met MSU158, though.

CA_Wrestler 316 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Nato has man strength too. True, but the thing is that Gilman's single is a little more effective just because of his length and reach compared to Tomasello in freestyle. They both wrestled in the WTT Challenge tourney finals and Gilman won a close one.
ionel 2,445 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 I take Spencer Lee in all styles. think Lee kind've busy "right now," I'd take anyone not named Suriano over Lee "right now."
GoNotQuietly 1,168 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Thomas Gilman the defending Men's World Silver medalist? Yeah, i'll take him until proven otherwise, though it is quite obvious that Lee has the capacity. 1 CA_Wrestler reacted to this

BigTimeFan 1,141 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 What’s amazing to me is that it wasn’t too long ago that the big question was whether Lee would be perennially undersized for 125. Tonight Gibbon’s couldn’t stop commenting on Lee’s awesome strength. He’s unstoppable. The only question mark is Fix. What about Fix?
sgallan 592 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Lee. If he can stay healthy he is going to fit the international weight as long as he wants it. And win.
sgallan 592 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Thanks for bringing some sanity to this. LOL.... bitter much (yes I am trolling you). Remember when I said Lee was stronger. Yeah, what I said.
Billyhoyle 2,472 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Thomas Gilman the defending Men's World Silver medalist? Yeah, i'll take him until proven otherwise, though it is quite obvious that Lee has the capacity. Gilman's silver is a lot like Stieber's gold. He earned it, no doubt, but it was an emptied out weight. If Lee/Fix haven't already passed him they surely will by 2020.

stp 564 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 I know for a fact Spencer Lee is nowhere near as much of a douchebag as Gilman.
de4856 370 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Lee vs Fix, Idk, after watching Spencer just work people from on top all year, and now that he's the newly minted 125 lbs Champ, he has to have the advantage in Folkstyle.
