pamela 1,334 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Great, now Yianni is going to have to move up 2 weights each season and win a title to beat what Dake did!
LoStNuMbEr 320 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 What a great job by staying in the match by Yianni but... man oh man did Merideth just piss that one away. MAN oh man! He stayed aggressive, had a chance to score, Yianni just outwrestled him at the end. It was a Yianni shot that initiated things

pamela 1,334 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Noticed that too. Not sure what they are all about. They do make getting a take down on that leg much harder. Saw a lot of slips the past three days. Maybe the branded leg compression sleeves are being worn because they're available from their sports sponsors. Wyoming is a Nike school so those things might be available to the equipment managers. The arm compression sleeves are all over the place in basketball too. I didn't think they'd cause slips since they're not totally sheer like the lyrca blend leggings wrestlers used to wear, but I wonder what the wrestlers have to say about them... 1 HokieHWT reacted to this
tec87 349 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Dake? Didn’t like him so much ... too many words, too all about Yianni. We know he’s a Cornell guy but even so it’s distracting to hear him talk about how Yianni needs to do this and that etc. well they were only asking him about Yianni. He tried talking about Bryce some but he kept getting Yianni q’s.
sgallan 592 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 I like Yanni a lot I am hoping (he needs to) transition to dominating people instead of of pulling it out. Like with Heil (albeit a better version) you can only get away with that for so long before they figure you out, or you don't get that last second cradle. I like the guy a lot. Huge upside, lets hope he transitions to domination going forward. He controlled that match. There was no reason it was as close as it was. He is clearly the better wrestler. ConnorsDad 593 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 He handled the defending champ and was undefeated to the finals. What happened tonight was not about Suriano. He could have spent the last 12 months in Dagestan and still lost. Completely agree. Sometimes we hear hoofbeats and think it's a zebra when it's really a lot simpler than that and still just a horse.

tec87 349 Report post Posted March 18, 2018 LEFT ARM http://www.espn.com/watch/player?id=3304739 0:30:14 IN THE VID yeah I saw the clip after I posted that. I pictured him cartwheeling on the other side and ending up with the other arm locked. Oh well, it had no bearing on Micic hyper extending tonight anyway.
