Best thread title of the year.  Add him to the list of people who are traitors according to Gilman.

He can wrestle, if he can coach is still to be determined

Interesting. Loved watching him compete, wont be shocked if he develops into a great coach - especially under Bono.

Been successfully running the eastern Iowa wrestling club & has been heavily involved in the Iowa program for years.

is it just me, or in the picture  is Gilman wearing Dennis' singlet and dennis is in the background?

That's what it looks like to me, too.

“Good get. Nice pick up.”

(At least I see the above used often on da mat dot com — is it appropriate here too?)

Very good hire. McDonough was and is a role model not only on the mat but also in the classroom and in life in general. Bono is off to a great start. I wonder who he’ll bring in to coach the upper weights or if he plans to do that himself.

Reader was wrestling 189 with night before weighins until very recently, so he can probably hang with the bigger guys.

Has a real garbage man mentality. If he doesn't like something he throws it in the trash and moves on. Nickname in college was Oscar.

Big get for the Badger RTC also. Is McD still competing?

Ah... I figured even if he wasn't competing, McD would be a good coach and training partner for Tyler Graff... until I realized Graff isn't at UW anymore. Whoops.

Graff has Frayer and Molinaro to train with... both bigger, but close enough to be helpful I would think.
