Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk Even without Moisey, tOSU returns 5 AA's: Pletcher-4th, McKenna-3rd, Jordan-5th, Martin-2nd and Moore-4th. Of those 5, 4 have AA'd more than once and Hayes just missed as an R12 and is a very likely AA next season. So, that leaves Campbell, to either man 165 or 174 with Romero(a very high end recruit) coming off redshirt to man the other weight and Singletary to take on 285 with possibly better accolades than Romero. If Moisey mans 125, tOSU would have 6 returning AA's of which 5 had AA's more than once. Hayes and Campbell have won multiple matches and the two remaining guys would be blue chip recruits. PSU and Iowa look pretty damn tough, but you don't redshirt a team like that! 2 TheOhioState and josefsmoe reacted to this

I don't think that tOSU can beat either team (on paper at least) next year or the following year if they redshirted everyone. After next season they lost Nolf, Nickal, Nevills, Rasheed - But they have a ton coming in and waiting in the wings. As sad as it may seem for many of us- it may be a long run for PSU. If my team makes the top 10 I will celebrate more than a 10th title PSU fan.
paboom 204 Report post Posted April 22, 2018 No one is beating PSU next year. 4 previous champs who will all repeat top 2, 3 other AA's that could all improve. Improved points at 125 and 133 and 149 will still be better than 2018 125/133. Not happening. Best bet is to wait for the 3 N's to graduate and hope they don't reload with a few more 3 or 4x national champs. Who cares who wins B1G's anyway. Will be forgotten in a couple of years. Aviator12 196 Report post Posted April 23, 2018 Not saying that Nebraska wasn’t the better fit for Moisey, outrecruited tOSU for him, anything like that.....but I wonder if the rumors of Schram to Ohio State were true and the Bucks were a little too far along that path to take on Moisey, especially to the chagrin of McKenna. Guess we’ll see if that ends up happening or not. Moisey would have been great, no doubt about it.
Frank_Rizzo 321 Report post Posted April 23, 2018 I suspect there's a Lehigh Valley connection, re: Nebraska and Moisey. Brian Snyder is from Easton. Moisey went to from Becahi, as did Mikey Labriola. I don't think it's a coincidence.

lu_alum 690 Report post Posted April 24, 2018 So is the thought that Sean Russell will go to WVU? would make sense for him to follow his coaching staff. probably was a factor in Moisey getting his release so quickly.

MSU158 1,509 Report post Posted April 24, 2018 Nope! Moisey asked for his release w nothing to do with Russell I don't think that is what he was saying. He is saying WVU granted his release quickly due to their belief that Russell would follow Flynn. 1 lu_alum reacted to this
