hammerlockthree 2,041 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 The "needed a tougher room" line is almost as laughable as the idea that suriano is a "jersey guy".
Joe24 90 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 So much nostalgia. I'm very excited. Hating Iowa/Brands this year just didn't feel right. I almost have pity for TNT since the real puppet master in Iowa is Lee. Dude should get free Casey's Pizza for a lifetime, to begin. 1 madcat11 reacted to this
Joe24 90 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 I bet he's feeling a lot of pain from his extended, brutal athletic career. I was talking about his near fatal accident.

Billyhoyle 1,988 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 (edited) I wonder why Gross's situation is different: goes from the "best room in the country" to some no-name college where he flourishes?Iowa doesn’t teach top wrestling, which is what Gross needed to learn. They’re pretty good at teaching bottom wrestling though, which is what DeSanto needs, as long as they don’t drive him insane first. AKHUNTER 290 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 I guess people selectively not remember why Gross is not at Iowa. 1 Perry reacted to this

bp2xbw 33 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 (edited) Kidding me, Lee is manipulating and controlling the whole scene--good for him. Doubt that Tom B. is being manipulated by a teenager, rather, Iowa has an immediate need and they see potential in Desanto. hammerlockthree 2,041 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 (edited) its BS to say Iowa doesn't wrestle on top, because only about 3 schools do. PSU, Missouri, Cornell......thats about it. tOSU doesn't even teach bottom! Edited May 3, 2018 by hammerlockthree 1 Perry reacted to this

Must have been a record number of takedown and release majors if they weren't putting people on their backs to get those points.

MadMardigain 1,273 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 Got me thinking...wonder how Hughes is doing these days? From a few months ago he was up and moving again. Not sure how well he is recovering back towards 100%, but the good news is he is still able to function.
