Hard to say anything meaningful about any of those matches.  Still, I think Burroughs handles Chamizo relatively easily on dry conditions.

Great win, him and Snyder just always seem to get it done no matter what the obstacle.

Anyone else think JB will have a tough time making 163 with same day weigh ins?   It said he weighed in at 174 yesterday, not sure if he cut to get there by just by the "eye" test he sure as hell looked huge compared to Chamizo.

They should have taken off their shoes and wrestled.

The humidity in NYC is 91% and that goes straight to the mat.

I was thinking the same thing.  And JB just tweeted his shoes today.

This was crazy mat conditions I think JB would of handled him very easy if mat conditions were not that bad

Waist up yes, but Chamizo actually looks bigger in the legs and butt.

Conditions were optimal for Cox, but absolutely no one else.

Reminded me of old three and hour practices where the sweat built up so heavily you simply slid into a double-leg takedown from half way across the mat.

With heaters blasting hot air into the room and tons of fog.

You know for all the complaining (on my side too) and jokes it really was yet another amazing BTS event.  They simply do amazing work and it's all in the name of growing the sport and bettering people's lives.  Kudos to everyone involved for making it happen every year...

Great event. Sad to see the mat condition causing those issues. All matches except for Gross / Teasdale are no contests!

I will say that Chamizo seemed to have MUCH better grip on the bottom of his shoes. But, even he was slipping.

A win for Nike.

That comeback by Snyder seems almost scripted!!!

What a time to be an American wrestling fan. What a performance. Wow. This lineup is scary good. Bill Zadick must be licking his chops.

Of all the wrestlers out skating around on the mat tonight, Dake looked the most solid.   If all goes according to plan (which it rarely does), the US should have an extended Murderer's Row of medalists from 70 KG to 125 KG.

We should compare the comments on mat slipperyness in this thread with those after the cox taylor matches.

We should compare your posts here to everything you've ever posted to see if you've ever had a single generic thought that didn't relate to Penn State.  Jesus man.

Chamizo is SO much better than Burroughs, but i'm not sure if he will ever beat him.
