FWIW, there must be a conspiracy out there because Flo also has Taylor and Dake ahead of Gilman in the P4P. Imagine the gall of their rankers, lol.

What’s interesting is 79kg. Ringer is ranked #4, get manhandled by an unranked junior, and moves up to #3. The unranked junior debuts at #5 and everyone 4-8 moves up at least one spot.

International rankings don’t mean anything. Many of the top guys don’t compete except for worlds (and world qualifiers if their country makes them attend)

We need a season for these rankings to matter

Flo also flooded my feed with a day dedicated to Gilman quotes so there’s that.

Taylor and Dake wish they had Gilman's silver. Something they aspire to achieve themselves someday

If either of them get silver they will have beaten better wrestlers than Gilman beat. They have already beaten better.

The rankings aren't terrible but they generally overrate Americans.  Fix jumps to 15 based on a win over Ramos, when his last international result was placing 19th at U23's?  Oliver 6th because he's better than Asgarov on a slip-n-slide? Also Ringer's position at #3 is essentially based on a single win over Hasanov, who shouldn't be ranked #4 anyway.

Talk is cheap. Proof is in the hardware around your neck. Shameful you go out of your way to discredit a world finalist. Pathetic really

Can someone please explain 79kg more?

1) Akhmed Gadzhimagomedov

2) Kyle Dake

3) Alex Dieringer

4) Jabrayil Hasanov

5) Zahid Valencia

Iowa fans are still arrogant; it's just that their team isn't as good.

Who has Taylor beat at the World Championships that is better than the guys Gilman faced? I can't think of any names off of the top of my head but I don't have the results in front of me.

I'm guessing Taylor beats Gilman.
