Ok folks, here we go.  Let's see how this shakes out:

125:  Heinselman as a true frosh?  NQ

149:  MiJo - Top 3

157:  Hayes - AA

165:  Romero - NQ

174:  Campbell - NQ

141: McKenna finalist (assuming he is a Top 3 Seed)

174: Campbell with a legit shot at AA depending on draw

197: Moore finalist as a minimum. Champ if Nickall is 184

I think tOSU should redshirt the guys they can, they're not beating Penn State next season. I doubt Hayes AAs at 157, he's a 141 pounder already up a weight class and couldn't get it done, not sure he even starts. Let Martin sit one year to wait out Nickal which will be a nice point swing when Martin returns for 2020. I think Micah has a real shot of winning it at 149

If they are holding out for a Title, I agree. However, they are a strong 2nd place candidate if they don't redshirt guys.

With Kemmerer & Lavallee & others gone, I think Hayes can AA at 157 (6th - 8th).

That lineup looks like a pretty good guess - The big question is whether Moore can continue to maintain 197 and be effective.  If he can't I think he could be a very good heavyweight, but that would bench Singletary for a couple of years (assuming KM wins the wrestle off)  It is amazing to me that a team this loaded (4 guys that can make finals plus 2 other legit AA threats and 4 blue chip frosh) is not considered a title threat.  PSU is just that scary good again.  everyone else is fighting for 2nd.

And this team is considered the frontrunner for # 2? I don't see it.

Tom Ryan likes to put his best lineup on the mat and finish as high as possible.  He knows how dmn good PSU is.  He may simply want to beat everyone else and be satisfied with it.  I don't know whether or not that's the right strategy but it's how he thinks and I can't argue with his results.
