wrestlingphish 1,035 Report post Posted July 6, 2018 Lots of forfeits. 70kg was interesting. Lots of guys making the move up with new weigh in rules. Is Yatsenko at 57kg who Gilman and Fix have both beaten? I feel like he has done pretty well for himself internationally. 2 spladle08 and Willis reacted to this

Once i get home I'm going to try and look through the brackets, I think they're on the UWW site, a few wrestlers in the higher weights I'd like to know who put em on backside. OhioSpladle 35 Report post Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) ha, Ramonov lost, may be not a lock in for the Russian team after all. I think it was his first tournament back from injury, but you may be right. Still, the guy is a straight monster. World champ in 14, was crushing everyone in 15 till someone stepped over on a gut wrench, olympic champ in 16, injured last year. EDIT: Side note, that Bajrang from india at 65kg isn't bad! Love watching Bajrang Ramonov wins gold this year It would be hugely helpful if he didn’t, especially with the new point structure. Hoping India takes it
wfan24 172 Report post Posted July 7, 2018 I am not even sure what class Ramonov will wrestle in. His style is fun to watch though a bit all over the place. His style and build remind of Taylor. You just never know what will happen, but it won't be a low scoring affair. 1 spladle08 reacted to this

WillieBoy 713 Report post Posted July 8, 2018 Don't follow International much. Don't see any Americans. Is the tournament an open or is it limited for entrants? I know Americans used to participate - why none now?
