Does Dan have Alzheimers?

The mans 86 I think almost everyone has at least a little dementia creeping in at times by that age.

My folks are a little older than Dan and neither has dementia. Their memories are shot though.

One of my history professors in community college is 95 and still teaching the same class.  Sharp as ever, just can't drive at night anymore.  Age affects people differently, or in some cases it barely does.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Contrary to what you've just seen, war is neither glamorous nor fun. There are no winners, only losers. There are no good wars, with the following exceptions: The American Revolution, World War II, and the Star Wars Trilogy. If you'd like to learn more about war, there's lots of books in your local library, many of them with cool, gory pictures.

Jimmy Carter is 92 and still sharp as a tack

Only another 1/4 billion people to go and you guys will blow out that “ “ALMOST EVERYONE has A LITTLE....AT TIMES by that age” theory I was working on. Yes some people still have their wits together pretty well at a very old age, thus why I didn’t say that all old people are mentally lost all the time.

Dan Hodge was the first person to come up to me after my first college match.  He talked to me for about 10 minutes and I was grateful.   His grandson's were teammates of mine in college and I appreciated a legend like that even saying hi to me let alone encouraging me to keep battling.  Great man,  hope he is able to relax and his family enjoy him in the latter part of his life now.
