3 New School Positions / Coaching - Western PA

Ellwood City (PA) is looking for wrestling coaches at all levels.  The following positions are also open.  If you are interested in the teaching/counseling jobs, you must apply on www.pa-educator.net  by August 17.  Anyone interested in coaching should e-mail Craig Alberts at calberts@ellwood.k12.pa.us or call at (724) 544-1216.

 

1. A Lawrence County School District is seeking to fill a full time grades 7-9 School Counselor position. Master’s degree in K-12 school counseling and PA certification in school counseling required. Candidates must have a strong background in the educational setting and be able to establish an excellent rapport with student in grades 7-9. Only full applications will be accepted which includes letter of interest, resume, standard PA application, college transcripts, three letters of reference, valid PA certificate, and current ACT 34, 114, 151, 168 and PDE-6004 under ACT 24. Deadline for applications is August 17th, 2018.

 

2.   A Lawrence County school district is seeking a Biology teacher. Biology 7-12 certification is required. The instructor will be responsible for teaching Biology courses. Ability to develop a strong rapport with students and strength in using data to drive instruction is preferred. Only full applications will be accepted which includes letter of interest, resume, standard PA application, college transcripts, three letters of reference, valid PA certificate, and current ACT 34, 114, 151, 168 and PDE-6004 under ACT 24. Deadline for applications is August 17th, 2018.

 

3.  A school district in Lawrence County is searching for a N-12 certified special education teacher to work in a high school emotional support classroom. Experience preferred. Successful candidates must possess the following: provide instructional/learning environments for students to reinforce appropriate pupil behaviors; develop, adapt/modify and sequence a variety of instructional activities to meet the students' needs; monitor/chart behavioral and instructional progress for the students; establish/maintain behavioral management system for the students; establish a varied environment which accommodates the differing ways that students learn; maintain records, and reports regarding pupil progress in a timely manner. Complete IEP and ER’s, communicate effectively with parents. Only full applications will be accepted which includes letter of interest, resume, standard PA application, college transcripts, three letters of reference, valid PA certificate, and current ACT 34, 114, 151, 168 and PDE-6004 under ACT 24. Deadline for applications is August 17th, 2018.
