How is wrestling germane to this crime?

I just don't get the relevance here.  Why mention that he was a HS wrestler?

Possibly he got in trouble, as indicated in the article, for grabbing a dudes balls at wrestling practice.

It’s very common in a news story such as this to include some personal details: the individual’s profession, alma mater, things or organizations they were involved, etc etc. In this case they happened to mention wrestling. He was a student athlete with a scholarship. That’s all. No conspiracy, no picture painting, no need to bring in Alex Jones. Nothing to see here.
