I didn’t expect Elam to be schooling Myers already. I wonder if they start him

I have no idea what kind of shape he is in or how much he wrestles these days, but that certainly caught my eye.

Elam is a true freshman - Mocco lost to the projected starter at 157 Fortuna by decision.
Perry 1,194 Report post Posted October 31, 2018 Elam is good but does MO compete for a trophy with him in the lineup? TBD I suppose, but I think he should shirt
Gantry 1,677 Report post Posted October 31, 2018 Yeah I'd redshirt him as well, especially since he can't be that big for heavy. Myers has starting experience and qualified for nationals, may not be a world beater but is solid enough.

Cody Howard (M), 6-0 285: John Borst (M) WBF Trent Ragland (O), 1:09 Hunter Bolen is at 197?! Mitch Moore winning is a good thing, but I was hoping he would be more dominant. I see him taking some lumps and then we will really get to see how good he is at the end of the season (assuming he doesn't red shirt, but rumor is he isn't) Prata was really good in high school, but he has wrestled a couple of college matches total due to injury. Either he has really improved or VT is in trouble at 125. I had high hopes for Norstrem. Hope this is just an early season/familiarity thing.
