OBXWrestler 108 Report post Posted December 18, 2018 125 Vito -4th- 15pts 133 C. Tucker- R12- 4pts 141 Yianni D. -Champ- 24 pts 157 F. Stroker -2-2 - 2.5pts 165 Jon Jay - R12- 4pts 174 Womack -1-2- .5pts 184 M. Dean - 5th- 12pts 197 Honis -R12- 4pts 285 Sweany - 2-2- 2.5pts Cornell- 68.5pts Based of last year’s scores this would put them 6th. I think Vito could score more as a potential finalist and I wish I could say Womack would score more but since he moved up to 174 he hasn’t been the same guy. Housebuye 2,451 Report post Posted December 18, 2018 Why are you doubting Jon Jay? I think he AAs. I think Tucker has a shot. Honis is definitely top 8 skill for skill.
LordNelson 553 Report post Posted December 18, 2018 I think Stroker will also be in the mix as well. If Chavez is healthy he is R12 or better.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would say most years that Tucker would AA but 133 is loaded. I am not doubting Jon Jay but with the construction of his weight he is a 7th-R12 type of guy. Honis could place but I was being cautious with my expectations for him.

dougb 53 Report post Posted December 18, 2018 68.5 would put Cornell PROBABLY in the 3-5 range, Is Ben Darmstadt (Unsure of spelling) out for the year? If not can Him or Honis challenge at Heavyweight to make the team stronger? Recent examples of 197 pounders going to heavyweight and being more successful at Heavyweight White of Oklahoma State And Cassar of Penn State (though Cassar did beat the #1 ranked 197 pounder last year, so he may be as good either weight) Thank you in advance. goheels1812 676 Report post Posted December 19, 2018 (edited) I'll give North Carolina a shot. 125: Joe Heilmann - 1-2: 0.5 points 133: Gary Wayne Harding- 2-2: 1.5 points (if he gets in the lineup and gets eligible, yet to be seen) 141: AC Headlee- R12: 4 points 149: Austin O'Conner- 5th: 12 points 157: Josh McClure- 1-2: 0.5 points 165: Kennedy Monday- 7th: 8 points 174: Devin Kane- 2-2: 2.5 points 184: Chip Ness- 6th: 10 points 197: no qualifier 285: Cory Daniel- R12: 4 points UNC: 43 points. This would put them in the 10-12 range as a team which may be too high for this year. I think this is best case scenario if all 3 of my AA predictions pan out. Next year I think the lineup will be even more solid with the addition of a couple redshirts. Edited December 19, 2018 by goheels1812

Housebuye 2,451 Report post Posted December 19, 2018 I am an NC State fan, but they aren't "my team". Thought it would be helpful to add them here though. NC State 125 - 5th + advancement + 1 bonus - 11 points 133 - 5th + advancement + 3 bonus - 13 points 141 - 2-2 +2 bonus - 3.5 points 149 - 4th + advancement + 1 bonus - 13.5 points 157 - 2nd + advancement + 3 bonus - 19 points 165 - 1-2 + advancement + 1 bonus - 2 points 174 - 1-2 + advancement - 1 point 184- 2nd + advancement + 2 bonus - 18 points 197 - 7th + advancement + 1 bonus - 7.5 points (1 of 285, 197, 174, 165 and 141 will AA, just not sure which) 285 - 0-2 - 0 78.5 points - very similar to last year. I think 125, 133 and 149 could place higher. 157 and 184 could place lower though.

dougb 53 Report post Posted December 20, 2018 Penn State according to Wrestlestat Penn State is Redshirting 3 Wrestlers, Teasdale has been injured and is just getting back, Teske was a big High School star (I don't follow High School much, but I have heard of Teasdale and Teske who were Blue Chip prospects) any chance Penn State pulls the Redshirt of Teske and/or Teasdale? Thank you in advance.
