Coach K, Carl & HIPAA

Recommended Posts

Coach K reported that Zion Williamson had a Grade 1 strain in his knee after going down in the UNC game.

How is is that Coack K can share that information without it being a HIPAA violation, but anytime Carl gets asked about injuries he claims he cannot comment due to HIPPA regulations?

Bc he is lying, that's why.

He does this just to get you mad. He knows you are out there getting all bent out of shape over this stuff and, well, why not?

Of course it's not a HIPAA violation. There's plenty of precedence for this exact circumstance.  Really don't want to dredge this argument back up though.

Please find a quote where Cael says its a HIPAA violation.

If you’re making a point about what HIPAA says versus how Cael characterizes it, it might make sense to: (1) cite the relevant provisions of HIPAA, and (2) link to Cael’s actual words which address those provisions.

Bad comparison choice...

Just because Coach K has a blabbermouth doesn't mean everybody has to have a blabbermouth, savvy? Remember: "Loose Lips Sink Ships".

Who is this Zion and what weight does he wrestle?

Coach K???

If you trained Zion in wrestling for 6 months-- assuming he was interested, which, of course, is unlikely-- would he win an NCAA title? I think he would.

I think you've been drinking from the Passaic River!!

If it makes you feel better, if Zion switched to football, he'd be a first round pick in the NFL draft. He is a better athlete than NFL players. Is he not a far better athlete than even Steveson. In 6 months, could he not learn a few takedowns? Defending might be harder to learn quickly.

You can’t be serious? Wrestling is way too technical for even the best athletes to be an NCAA champ with only six months of training in the sport. I’ll agree he could do well in football in that time frame, but no way he could be a national champ wrestler!
