PSU's flameouts at 125

The biggest PSU 125 question for me is what the heck is Devin Schnupp studying? His major is listed as something like "field turf sciences".

That is a major typically used when the student wants to get into agronomy. Think golf course Superintendent.

The Penn State Turf Grass program is pretty highly regarded. The various fields it leads to are Golf Course Superintendent, Athletic Field Manager, Lawn Specialist / Landscape contracting, and Turf Grass Sciences. I have a friend that is a PHD in Turf Science. I have learned so much about grass disease and turf problems than I ever wanted to know but he is a little OCD so when we golf and he see disease he takes samples and photo documents everything.

3 out of the 4 major golf championships either last year or the one prior were held on golf courses where the Superintendent graduated with a PSU Turf Mgmt. degree. The Super at Augusta is Brad Owen, a PSU grad with his Turf Mgmt. degree.

Think about those $1MM football complexes in the DFW metroplex, along with every other strong booster club looking for support on their football field/ golf course/ soccer pitch, etc. And then they can step up to NCAA ranks, and then on to pro ranks (as TBar said PGA majors). Obviously not everyone will be the Augusta superintendent, but many will be a-ok doing what they enjoy surrounded by a cultivated form of nature and supporting athletic endeavors of other athletes.

You can also work for the seed companies. There are so many types of grass mixes used on golf courses today, many very slight variations of other mixes, that nobody here could possibly name the all. They have names and then the number of the mix following. Each one is used depending on a variety of factors like soil density and depth, type of soil,. local insect pests, amount of water, salinity, alkalinity ...etc.

PSU's turfgrass program is a big deal. My freshman year roommate went that route. I think it's #1 ranked.

I had a HS teammate whose major at PSU was "Animal Husbandry"

In light of the fact that PSU can't put out any competitive 125 pounders, how about we just drop 125 pounds as a weight class, and add "Super HWT". Super HWT will be MINIMUM 285 pounds - 500 pounds. We could add "Super Duper HWT" at 501-1000 pounds as well.

Your geography skills suck serious ass.
Quite the opposite really. And I did not mean they're physically close to one another but rather they're both desolate and rural.
