World cup became a good tournament for Russian young wrestlers! Team C from Russia beat senior World team memebers from Japan and Cuba!

Congratulations to Team Russia.  A very strong tournament for them with no real challenges.  Khuzin, can you talk to your pals Tedaev and Mamiashivili and have Russia send the #4 or #5 team next year???

i think this team was #3 also. Only Sidakov, Kurugliev and Baitcaev were in team. Other guys not good in senior still.

example if USA would be in pool 1 with Russia. And face Iran for 3rd and lost. 4th! big result still!

But who would have won Pool 2 other than Iran?  US likely still takes 3rd.

Haha I'm just messing with you. Russia is the team to beat at worlds. World Cup was fun to watch but doesn't matter as most guys weren't the #1s in their country.

Well, even though some of the World's best didn't compete at this event, I thought that it was good for our guys to get a chance to compete in a marquee event such as this, along with getting four matches against some pretty decent competition under their belts. Looking at some of our guys performances, I am anticipating to some exciting action at the US Open.

A little off topic but....... travel probably wasn't so easy for most delegations, but seems pretty cool they all got to see Yakutia.
