Can i compete in NCAA wrestling if i'm a part time student?

Recommended Posts

A second semester Senior can usually get away with only a course or two, if that is all they need to graduate. And of course a lot of seniors are still competing in spring sports, especially SBall and Bball significant weeks after they received a sheepskin

Do you have to be a full time student to compete?

If it maters I plan on joining the CSU Bakersfield wrestling team.

To compete for the team you have to be signed up for 12 units (NCAA RULE),  If you just want to work out that is entirely the coach's decision, I went to Bakersfield when Coach Kerr was there, so good luck at Bakersfield.

12 units not required if you are a graduate student.  Typically three courses (9 credit hours) per semester is considered full-time as a grad.
