lost 129 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 Whelp... I think in another thread people were trying to figure out the longest NCAA tenure, I think we might have solved it. 97 year old that's been coming for 68 years???

I thought it was awesome! Wick is awesome!

BigTimeFan 1,031 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 Gable in the consi semis. I cannot think of a time Gable has been in a consolation round. He took second in stated as an eight grader and didn’t lose after. He won all his freestyle except where he lost last year and was out. Maybe at senior nationals he was for one match ? Wick vs White should be going to OT but instead one guy arbitrarily wins White should have been nailed for stalling. Took a page out of Tony Nelson's book and did a parellel spiral ride for the entire 2nd period. Then blocked off the whole 3rd period in neutral, still gave up the TD. BigTimeFan 1,031 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 Of all the recent super-frosh - Hall, Lee, Fix, Yianni. He’s the only one who didn’t make the finals his first go. Yet of all of them he seemed the most likely to do it.

The ref really let Pletcher avoid wrestling for a lot of that match as Desanto continually shot him off the mat. Not even pushed him off. Shot him off.
