lost 110 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 Marstellar doesn't get backs when he should have and gets dinged with a hands to the face call and still comes out on top in the rematch. Great to see a redemption story like that

GreatWhiteNorth 167 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 2 minutes ago, newuser69 said: The refs on the mat should not handle their own video reviews. They are biased innately. Why not just have a complete 3rd party do all the reviews? All they see is the action without context and make a call. Wouldn't even be hard to do this. Put a video review group in an on-site room with video feed and let them do the review 'from the booth'. This year has had too many sketchy calls that were upheld to do anything else. 1 newuser69 reacted to this

Deakin had control for a full 2-3 seconds here I agree. I think both should have been tds.

Marcus Cisero 340 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) Seeing all the names below Chance Marstellers 3rd place finish is an indication just how good he truly is. KCMO2 617 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) Disappointed with Mizzou in the medal round. Some of their guys wrestled like they didn't even want to be there. Little aggression and no sense of urgency when they had to score. Edited March 23, 2019 by KCMO2
TBar1977 3,813 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 Amine over Daniel Lewis 4-2. That match was grueling. Shows how good Amine is.
lost 110 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) Amine might quietly go down as one of the best guys never to make the finals depending on how next year shakes out. He's 4th 3rd 3rd at this point and this year his only losses were to Hall and Valencia, both of whom he's had close matches with. Leg Brace, bandaged elbow - because you can't put a visible bandage on a sprained ego. 3 buckshot1969, TBar1977 and Giovanni reacted to this
