Perry 1,423 Report post Posted April 13, 2019 Missouri: 125 - Cevion Severado is going to surprise some people 133 - Malik Johnson is also going to surprise some people 141 - Grant Leeth with Eirmann OLYRS, could be very tough here if he can hold the weight 149 - Brock Mauller will be an outside title contender, high aa 157 - Jarrett Jacques 165 - Peyton Mocco (no relation) 174 - Connor Flynn/Jeremiah Kent I would favor Flynn but Kent is solid 184 - Dylan Wisman 197 - Wyatt Koelling 285 - Zach Elam or Mac Truck's son if he decides to make his glorious return and Elam redshirts Pretty solid lineup once again for the Tigers. Only a couple of upper classman in there as well so they are pretty young. Also just got a committment from Elam's younger brother Rocky who could be tough sooner than later as well 1 Idaho reacted to this

Also just got a committment from Elam's younger brother Rocky who could be tough sooner than later as well My two cents, fwiw: 125: I predict Severado to have similar success as Heinselman did this year. 133:. This weight is stacked. Again. A surprise would be AA. This he will not do. 141:. Leeth, if he can make and hold this weight, will be lethal. 149: Mauller is a top 4 guy this upcoming season. 157: Jacques is a podium threat. 165: Mocco is in a stacked weight. Will put up decent results, but AA is not in the forecast 174:. If Flynn, may be R12? 184:. Wisman... Outside AA threat. 197:. Koelling: outside AA threat HWT:. Elam. Outside AA threat. Overall, a solid team that may have around 5 AA's if things work out well. 1 Idaho reacted to this
nhs67 1,952 Report post Posted April 13, 2019 Okay, here is my optimistic view on CMU. 125) HILDEBRANDT(RS-JR) AA 133) MARTEN (RS-SO) NQ 141) SIMON (RS-JR) NQ 149) BUSH (RS-SO) DNQ 157) PARKS (RS-SR) R12 165) FEDEWA (RS-SO) DNQ 174) LIEBER (RS-SO) NQ 184) CASTILLO (RS-JR) DNQ 197) PELHAM (RS-JR) NQ 285) STENCEL (RS-JR) AA I see 2 AA, with a possible 7 qualifiers. This could be as low as 3 NQ, and that wouldn't surprise me at all with the way last season turned out. With Oliver and Smith having left the program last year there were a lot of kids in the wrong weights and a lot of kids who didn't even seem to give it a proper go. 1 Idaho reacted to this

I think Severado could outperform Heinselman potentially, but it would be a tall order and I do not predict an AA for him or Malik at 133 as RS Frosh. Will be interested in seeing how Flynn is up at 174 and if that helps or hurts his performance. 1 Idaho reacted to this

nhs67 1,952 Report post Posted April 13, 2019 (edited) Here is what I have for Michigan State: 125) FOLEY (JR) AA 133) SANTOS (RS-JR) OR ELLIS (RS-JR) DNQ 141) HRISOPOULOS (RS-JR) DNQ 149) ENRIQUEZ (RS-SO) DNQ 157) TUCKER (RS-JR) NQ 165) RITCHIE (RS-SR) OR HILES (RS-JR) OR ATIENZA (RS-SO) DNQ 174) HUGHES (RS-JR) NQ 184) CAFFEY (RS-SO) NQ 197) WILTON (RS-SO) NQ 285) BEARD (RS-SO) DNQ They could get fancy with their lineup and shuffle about a bit. Rumor is that they are very high on MALCZEWSKIE(RS-FR) and want to get him in the lineup next season. The only way I see that happening is if Hughes drops back to 165, which could shift and entire lineup change all the way down to 133. Hiles and Atienza down to 165(Ritchie hasn't seen 157 since before high school soph year). That will send Tucker down to 149, Enriquez down to 141, and H-Ris down to 133. I like that lineup, providing they can wrestle without being too drained. Everyone has seen those weights as well at some point in their college career, so it may not be out of the realm of possibilities. Still. I see the lineup being as I put above and I don't see anyone taking an Oly-RS. Edited April 13, 2019 by nhs67
nhs67 1,952 Report post Posted April 13, 2019 (edited) My take on the Wolverines at UofM... 125) MATTIN (JR) OR ASSAD (RS-SR) NQ 133) MICIC (RS-SR) CONTENDER 141) STORR (RS-JR) AA 149) FREEMAN (RS-SO) OR LAMANTIA (RS-SR) NQ 157) LEWAN (RS-FR) R12 165) MASSA (RS-SR) AA 174) AMINE (RS-SR) AA 184) EMBREE (RS-SO) NQ 197) STRIGGOW (RS-SR) OR DAVISON (RS-SO) NQ 285) PARRIS (SO) R12 That is how I see it. The only real change that may be there is that Silva may go 141 and Storr up to 149. Otherwise it is quite simple. Albeit ignoring Oly-RS that may take place(if Micic medals this year for Serbia he would-Amine is a longshot to medal for San Marino but that is still there). My dream scenario, and it is purely because I find it the most interesting scenario is this: 125) MICIC (RS-SR) CONTENDER 133) SILVA (RS-FR) AA 141) STORR (RS-JR) AA 149) FREEMAN (RS-SO) R12 157) LEWAN (RS-FR) R12 165) AMINE (RS-SR) CONTENDER 174) MASSA (RS-SR) AA 184) EMBREE (RS-SO) R12 197) STRIGGOW (RS-SR) or DAVISON (RS-SO) NQ 285) PARRIS (SO) AA That lineup leaves me frothing at the idea that they would be right up there in the running, presuming Penn State doesn't put out as many points at NCAAs... A difficult thing to presume and a very optimistic outlook. Edited April 13, 2019 by nhs67

TripNSweep 735 Report post Posted April 13, 2019 (edited) Here's my guesses at ASU. 125: Brandon Courtney, low AA/R12 133: Julian Chlebove, if he RS then Josh Kramer, Chlebove could be a mid to low AA 141: Busiello, if he RS then Demison or Crooks, Busiello could be a low AA/R12 149: Maruca, R12 157: Teemer, Mid AA 165: Shields, mid AA 174: A. Valencia, mid AA 184: Z. Valencia, 3rd NCAA title 197: Norfleet, Low AA/R12 285: Hall, anywhere from 2nd to 8th Depending on draws, injuries and how guys adjust going up or down, ASU could really make some noise. I think Anthony Valencia is going to surprise some people. Edited April 14, 2019 by TripNSweep 2 gobraves101905 and Housebuye reacted to this

Just not next year. If Enriquez makes the drop and Tucker does not we may see him slot in at 149 or if HRis makes the drop and Enriquez does not we may see him at 141. I don't see him beating Enriquez or HRis right now, though.

I’m sure Zeke will give them a few months but by mid January/early February they will have their best team in the mat, redshirt available or not Only 3 returning AAs, but all 3 are very likely to AA, one is a champ, Anthony and Teemer seem very likely to AA and every other weight has a qualifier level guy st a minimum with a lot of upside. A guy like Chlebove making a run is very possible. That guy is very skilled. I think ASU ends up with 5+ AAs
