If there was one tournament, it would make for better TV. But but but Martin Flo said this was the way would build a viewership! I do actually think it’s great to have a “season” of multiple events laddering up to WTT and Worlds, but the current format needs some tweaking. You know it’s pretty convoluted when one of the Flo guys misunderstands/explains it wrong.

You know it’s pretty convoluted when one of the Flo guys misunderstands/explains it wrong. It's a mixed bag. On the one hand, I like the fact that there are two weekends in June with some high quality matches. If you think about it, the US open is barely interesting in most cases till the semifinals (with exceptions like this years 65kg class). More than 50% of the matches (could it be more than 75%?) at the WTT challenge are really interesting. So much so that it's hard to watch them all live because so many are happening at the same time. Especially when Flo tragically shows two finals matches at the same time. By the time you get to FinalX the matches are all exciting and many of them are super competitive. As a fan I like having so much wrestling to get to the worlds. That said, it's still a mixed bag because nothings decided until the end other than who will not be going to the world and Final X will be very, very thin. Each MFS X will have five weight classes times at least two matches. Pretty thin. 1 pamela reacted to this

BigTimeFan 953 Report post Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) Gable looks like a killer, Coon like a really mean angry bowling pin. Edited May 19, 2019 by BigTimeFan
BigTimeFan 953 Report post Posted May 19, 2019 Gable is just amazing. What is going on here? He's making Coon look terrible, but we know that he's anything but.
BigTimeFan 953 Report post Posted May 19, 2019 Coon's best shot this match is to caution Gable out.

BigTimeFan 953 Report post Posted May 19, 2019 Congrats to Gable Steveson. That was about as convincing a win as I could imagine especially given the beating Coon gave him just a year ago. Let the Gable-Gwiz speculation begin.
