nom 636 Report post Posted May 18 This is going on 2 years old, but Google shows UNC - Chapel Hill. Very interested in following his progression. https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/5068246-gabriel-tagg-verbals-to-north-carolina

He would have been a senior in high school this year. Doubt he has been on UNC’s campus training yet. So, it would make sense for the OTC coaches to be in his corner. boll-weevil 0 Report post Posted May 18 1 hour ago, leshismore said: Thanks. Scott was not in his corner from what I could see. Tagg was wrestling Jaime Hernandez in the best 2 of 3 finals, and Hernandez just finished up his 2nd year at Carolina, so Scott (and UNC asst coach Bryce Hasseman) were in Hernandez's corner. Scorenomore 41 Report post Posted May 19 Can’t you get out of the letter of intent after one year? He may have committed early and through his time at the otc, burned off the letter of intent? His stock is up and mighty be listening to options?

Only if North Carolina doesn't offer athletic aid for the upcoming fall semester. The LOI is actually in effect for 4 years. UNC would have to release him if he wanted to attend another D1 institution without sitting out a year.
