Ogalthorpe Haywood 322 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 (edited) Assuming he wins of course lol. I hope the others eligible follow suit. Gable May have had to surrender his passport though. Edited June 20, 2019 by Ogalthorpe Haywood

Tough break for Jake Woodley but.... it's Bo Nickal. I think the 92kg bracket at U23's will actually be quite strong.

treep2000 905 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 Good to see Bo doing this and taking it seriously. Good luck to both, but this is Nickal's spot. He should do well at the WC. 1 hammerlockthree reacted to this

wrestlingnerd 2,593 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 Interesting to see this for a guy who is committed to MMA after one cycle. And it's also interesting that it's 92 and not 86 kg.

de4856 360 Report post Posted June 21, 2019 Well I am happy to see this, and even if Bo doesn't make the U23 team, at least he tried. But I think he will win and I think he will do very well at the U23's.

You should care, don’t be so quick to brush him off. It’s ashame he refuses to go down. He could probably medal at 86 right now. It takes one injury on Taylor’s side and Bo would be a fantastic replacement in 2020. He’d be a hell of a lot better than Downey.

Bo is amazing, but he hasn’t focused in freestyle. He could medal at 86kg this year, but he would be a pretty significant underdog to 3 or so guys at worlds. He doesn’t have any freestyle wins over a ranked opponent. He would smash Downey. I doubt he would give up a point. Terrible style matchup for Downey. Bo is better everywhere. I think the special wrestleoff was only for Final X runner ups. Also Bo is wrestling 92 so Cox wouldn’t need to go down. I’m assuming you can’t change weights anyways at this point. Cox is also 24 right now so he isn’t eligible for U23. He was last year Edited June 21, 2019 by Housebuye

Pretty sure Bo would pin/tech Downey in less than 90 seconds. 1 Housebuye reacted to this
