Yanni definitely got best of that one.

He is so slick in getting in and immediately gets Zain off the  ground.

No bearing on out come of CT case. Both class acts good for USA.

Zain looked like injured ?

Looked like a cramp to me. Those quads on both guys seem to get pretty hyperextended.

Hope you're right, but from the scramble, and the way Zain got up, it looked like it might have been his left knee.

Regardless, he seemed ok after, so I wouldn't worry too much.

i didn't see any sign of an injury in this match.

He definitely was limping after the 4 point move and kept testing the knee. Didn't look good. He scored after the injury but I think Yianni was giving up that 2 and running out the clock.

you can see zain grab his face as if to cover the anguish/pain from the move a few seconds before they are brought back to their feet.

you can see him grimace and perhaps its him yelling as they hit the mat.

this sucks.

OK, thanks.  I'm not on flo so hopefully it will come into the free domain soon.  Good luck to YD in the finals.

I believe there is no paywall for these matches.

Well Yianni looked pretty good against Zain and his opponent from Azerbijan. In his semi finals match he didn't look so good until his opponent absolutely ran out of oxygen. Credit to Yianni, and the coaching staff to have our guys ( and our one gal ), in great shape and prepared for this tournament. I am looking forward to seeing how Yianni does in the finals as well as how Zain does in Repechage tonight.
