He kept if far more competitive than any of JDen’s international opponents have so far. I don’t think it’s far off to say Bo is a top 5 at 92. Maybe Nickal should just collect a silver medal after Cox wins. 1 spladle08 reacted to this

Yeah, but going from consistent 1 to 3 point winner (only scoring when he felt he needed to), to consistent tech guy, going out there with the mindset of "I'm going to score until the match is over".... Just makes me happier.

There’s no evidence he’s top 5 in the world. Every time an NCAA star is in the same weight class as a US medalist, everyone assumes the NCAA star is at the medalist’s level. It’s almost never true. Not even Gable was a medalist-caliber wrestler upon graduating. He couldn’t get past 1970 bronze-medalist Bobby Douglas. There are levels to this game. ugarte 341 Report post Posted July 13, 2019 That was anticlimactic. Still, Yianni gets the gold. Musukaev whipped the Azeri, but so did Yianni.

iGranby 175 Report post Posted July 13, 2019 Pardon my ignorance, but does the FF play into any rankings/points gamesmanship? Like, would there be no benefit for them to wrestle Yianni, win or lose? With the USA spot being up in the air I guess it just makes me more skeptical/curious about these things. I know ive read/heard a lot of the top-top guys dont care about points/seeding, but at a weight like 65 where there seems to be more then 2 legit title contenders I gotta think it could be more important. I don't think so, but he's close. Does Musukaev (sp?) have any recent results (good or bad)?
