I don’t know man, it’s absolutely absurd someone who wrestled didn’t get a job at a school with wrestling. They should say no to all those schools because their money is no good to us!

He could push for wrestling. He could be involved in the sport that got him in to Stanford to start with. Where was the guy from? Kansas? He could be cutting hay right now instead of sitting in an air conditioned office NOT supporting wrestling. We need more wrestlers to give back to the sport. Many of the former D1 guys don't touch it again after they leave. Social climbers gonna climb.

Good sarcasm.

You don't know that he won't. Even if he does you may never hear.

You just stood out for stupidity on an internet forum.  That's not easy to do.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. May God have mercy on your soul.

You listen to the internet? I seem to recall reading about a guy who listened to his neighbor's god and started shooting people in New York.

Unfortunately we will never see Wrestling at Rice University.  I have talked to Tanner a number of times and he has even said that he would love to start a team there, but it is not going to happen.  Tanner is still involved in wrestling and he tries to stay involved as much as he can.   Last spring, he sponsored a Wrestling night at the Ball Park during a Rice baseball game and gave free tickets to Wrestlers that showed up with their club team.  It was not attended to well, but he is going to try and have a few other things to promote the sport.

Tanner is a very smart man (as you can tell by his academic success).  He is a great advocate for the sport and I do believe we will see Tanner moving on to a University where they do have wrestling at some point in his career.  As of now, I know he is enjoying his time at Rice and it has been good to have a former wrestler of his stature in the local community.

Since we’re having fun with word choices, ‘his neighbor’s god’?

I want an imaginary friend to give me stock tips.

I was at a casino a few months ago and happened to be walking by a game that was based on fake miniature racehorses going around a track. I decided to play for $1 but had no idea who to bet on.  While I was looking down I heard somebody yell "Bet on green!" so I did.  I won $2.  My girlfriend swears there was nobody who walked by and could have yelled that.  So now she says I have positive gambling schizophrenia.

I said DON'T bet on green. I'm kind of fade material...

How are you on the internet but still can't recognize the most famous line from Billy Madison?

This message board never fails to surprise.

Too busy chasing that penguin.

The best you've got is a gif from an unfunny actor?

I mean I like stupid cheesy comedies which certainly are not cinematic masterpieces, Anchorman, Dodge-ball, Grandma's Boy to name a few; but man Adam Sandler is down near the bottom of the list. I cannot think of a single time when I found anything he did even remotely funny.

Happy Gilmore was one of the dumbest movies ever made. Man some of the movies with an IMDB ranking of less than 2 are better than that waste of film. I'd rather watch Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. At least that had 1 slightly funny line.

Grandma's Boy was produced by Adam Sandler so I guess in fact you did find something that he did remotely funny.

Just because he's listed as an "Executive Producer" does not mean he had anything to do with the movie beyond putting in a little cash.

It was the brainchild of Allen Covert, the star, writer, and actual producer.

Don’t you love people who quote movies as their go to Schtick? Pretty sad stuff
