wrestlingnerd 2,999 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 Just announced via Instagram. Match 2 will be rewrestled. Time and location TBD. For all the guys saying Koll was the devil incarnate and the Cornell crew chasing a pipe dream, what say you now? On second thought, let's not hear it. Let's keep this thread fact-based. 4 1 wamba, Cradle1, simple and 2 others reacted to this

freestyle_fan 134 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 Wow, this is great. I think Yianni prevails in match-2 and match-3 and he goes to Nur-Sultan. 1 BallandChain reacted to this
Katie 1,076 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 So let's see here: Dake/Ringer is this weekend. Zain/Yianni is at some unknown time before worlds begin in a mere five weeks. We're sending PD3 1 JasonBryant reacted to this

We're sending PD3 I say the coaches send Hidlay at 86kg. His performance at worlds tells me he is better right now compared to Downey from Yasar Dogu. nhs67 1,988 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 I also still think Zain is a better option, if healthy. Johnny may have a higher ceiling, but I believe Zain has a higher basement. I don't see him falling behind 9-0 at any point to anyone. 1 BallandChain reacted to this

madcat11 434 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 Do not lose sight of the fact that Zain is the overall beneficiary of this situation. This just makes it slightly less unfair to yianni. 9 simple, BallandChain, Perry and 6 others reacted to this

If Zaine can win again - well then I'll cheer for Zaine at worlds. But I really want to know - will Tucci be on the officiating crew?

spladle08 1,096 Report post Posted August 16, 2019 Go USA!!! Personal preference I cheer Yainni. From a "who would do better" approach, its a wash. Despite me calling Zain: Metcalf Jr,he's tough, i just dont see either being favored to actually medal.

Does Zain have a lot of matches against wrestlers as good as Musukaev? Until I saw it happen, I wouldn't have expected Yianni to give up 9 points like he did.
