dmm53 421 Report post Posted September 19 (edited) FLO announcers are way, way preferable. They stick to the action. These two Track guys just want to reminisce, talk about issues in other countries, speculate about what the wrestlers could be doing, etc. Stick to the bloody match, you fools. They also have very low energy and speak in monotones. Edited September 19 by dmm53
Jon_Kozak 152 Report post Posted September 19 Khinchegashvili vs Muszukajev coming up on Mat A could be good. Muszukajev is the one who Yianni was down 9-0 to before gassing him out. He's got some really incredible offense.

Since 2008 USA is 6-15 at 65kg at Worlds/Olympics. Maybe I'm thinking of 61kg 2 years ago...
Jon_Kozak 152 Report post Posted September 19 1 minute ago, PSUMike said: Maybe I'm thinking of 61kg 2 years ago... Yeah-you're right. Stieber was 1-2 in 2017 at 61kg. Lost to Rashidov up top and Khinchegasvhili after winning a match in repechage. That was a tough draw!

Jon_Kozak 152 Report post Posted September 19 In 4 matches on Mat A - Amiraslanov from AZE has Uguev from Rus. This could be a good one-Amiraslanov won Euro Games this year in a field that had Micic, Atli and Uguev.

pa in taiwan 59 Report post Posted September 19 Thursday afternoon here in Taiwan. I have all four mats on live. I guess there are a few advantages to living in Taiwan: no pay for UWW, single payer health insurance... 3 whaletail, vsnej and scribe reacted to this

pa in taiwan 59 Report post Posted September 19 Iran beats BLR at the buzzer with a takedown at 57kg. Uguev also wins with a takedown in the last 20 seconds. He looked terrible against Azerbaijan.

Then got to two body locks and was able to finish both for TDs to come out on top 4-3. Russia pulls another one out their ass..

Graverobber 35 Report post Posted September 19 Rashidov vs Otoguro next!
goStanford18 2 Report post Posted September 19 Rashidov takes out Otuguro 8-1. Otuguro was the aggressor the entire second, but he had nothing. Rashidov simply looked too strong and Otuguro could never find the angle--putting himself in bad positions or Rashidov to capitalize on.
