Eagle26 315 Report post Posted September 22 First let me say that the money I spent to view the best wrestling on the planet was well worth it. However, I do have a couple minor complaints. These are meant as constructive criticism so please let’s keep it civil. 1. The Ad banners - it was really annoying to have my screen size reduced probably by more than 50% for ads. Maybe there was a way around this but I wasn’t smart enough to figure it out. I expect advertisements for free content, but for a paid subscription, I should not be forced to constantly view a reduced screen. For $30, I get 3 months of Netflix ad free. I’m even ok with adding the commercials during the break to get them extra revenue, but the ad banner was too much imo. 2. Announcing - I love the knowledge Hrovat brings of international experience, and I loved hearing some of his stories and insight. But he really needs to learn when to stop going off on a tangent and call the match. The stories are good in between matches or when two foreign wrestlers are in a boring match, but he was literally telling stories when American wrestlers were in the middle of a scramble in a tight match! IMO it was really distracting from the match 4 jon, GranbyTroll, GoNotQuietly and 1 other reacted to this

IMO it was really distracting from the match Agree on both counts. Even worse are the ads that play-- several decibels over the broadcast-- when you look at the dashboard. They also have just one set of announcers, not one for each mat. Also, they keep making you sign back in. Overall: There was no other way to see the matches, but Track is pretty horrible. I wish I had gotten a VPN instead. 1 jon reacted to this
jon 135 Report post Posted September 22 It'd be refreshing to see Track do better, make changes such as those discussed here!
The Genius 182 Report post Posted September 22 Wait, you guys pay and still get ads whilst the rest of the world doesn't pay and gets an ad-free experience? That's ridiculous. 6 Eagle26, scribe, GranbyTroll and 3 others reacted to this

That's ridiculous. Two sets of ads! One is akin to TV ads, a commercial break. But the second set is worse: Ear curdling ads that blare when you look at the dashboard to see what matches are on the various mats. 1 1 jon and The Genius reacted to this

dmm53 420 Report post Posted September 22 (edited) Yes, they need someone to actually call the matches: provide insight and analysis of the matches as they are unfolding. Hrovat loves telling stories and taking a super wide angle lens on the sport even while important action is occurring on the mat. He would literally not stop his story if the two best wrestlers in the weight were in a flurry. I think he really wants to be a grandfather who sits in his rocking chair and tells tales: "I remember back in the day when I was in Dagestan and eating borscht with Sadulaev and this guy came up to our table and challenged the World Champ to a thumb wrestling match; well let me tell you what happened. . . . " Meanwhile, Sadulaev cartwheeled over his opponent on the mat and then threw him for 5 but Hrovat missed the action and kept reminiscing. I finally watched the matches on Track without the sound of the announcers. He just needs to learn how to call a match or they need to find someone else. 1 jon reacted to this

pa in taiwan 59 Report post Posted September 22 I'm wondering if the announcers I heard on the UWW website (I live overseas) were the same as on Track wrestling. Does anyone know?

Does anyone know? They were definitely not. The UWWs were much better - more announcing action, less cheering and tangents. I paid for track but switched to the UWW feed like 3 days in to get away from the announcers. 2 jon and Housebuye reacted to this
