Pre-Olympic trials

Hello

I have never been to an international tournament, finial X or Olympic trials tourney.

However, this year my son and I broke down and bought tickets to the trials.

He was wondering if there are any events or opportunities the day before to get autographs and shake hands w some of the wrestlers?

Is there usually a chance to meet em?

I went to Iowa last go around.  You guys are in for a treat with respect to the wrestling.  I don’t recall any formal events with the athletes, but you might try to tap into the penn state network as they may be hosting some events.

Hello all
We’re staying in Altoona and have the whole Friday before the trials open.
I’m trying to figure out what to do that day and if it’s worth driving up to the campus.

Anyone know of any wresting events or pre tourney fun happening around campus?

Getting to meet some of the competitors may be tough because they'll be preparing, but there will many wrestling celebrities in the stands or coaching and they will probably be very approachable.

You are wasting your time.  There are no fish to be found at the OTT

Plus, they will likely want to avoid much contact with folks given the virus stuff.
