Disagree on all counts. Zain has made two World Teams, so that is a level, by fact, that Yianni has not gotten to. I stand by what I said before. Yianni winning Dogu is nice, but him surrendering a 9-0 deficit before Musakaev gassed out is not the same as beating Musakaev at Worlds. Two different things. Its like how people said DT pinning Yazdani at World Cup doesn't mean he can beat him at Worlds. DT has in fact won that match, to date Yianni has not. Maybe one day you will be able to point out when he does win a match like that, but not yet. Edited October 24 by TBar1977

BigTimeFan 857 Report post Posted October 25 The fact is that beating someone at a non worlds event isn’t the same. The fact that DT ultimately beat Yazdanni doesn’t invalidate the comments after the World Cup. Here’s two eighties classics by way of example: Jim Scherr lost repeatedly to Maharbek Khadartsef over his career. He beat him once, in the World Cup. Chris Wilson beat Fadzaev a few times, once I’m the World Cup. He never won worlds. Bottom line is that until DT won worlds it was legit to say “that’s great but Yaz gassed and it wasn’t the worlds”. DT proved the World Cup wasn’t a fluke. He didn’t prove the comments were dumb. 1 TBar1977 reacted to this

77again 25 Report post Posted October 28 Eierman loses to Krgystan 13-13. Eierman was winning 13-11 with 6 seconds remaining in match. Eierman was put down in par terre. For some unknown reason he tried to stand up with 3 seconds remaining, got immediately launched for 2, and lost on criteria.

I assume they call it 4-2. it was 13-11. then takedown for KGZ 13-13. but you can doubt that TD because it was when the mat chairman was yelling "stop , stop"

Otherwise, probably going to be a long tourney for Team USA.Yeah I've had the Bo convo a few places (havent seen the draws if theyre out yet) but... there's always 1 or 2 legitimate senior level wrestlers per each upper weight. So i expect him to be the underdog if him and "legit" guy meet, however his lack of a consistantly effective takedown have me a little concerned (against the non-legit guys). DT struggles with the same thing, however he out-paces guys to where his lack of dependable takedown, turns into, "get you tired enough, I can easily get to a leg then we can scramble, and im unstoppable there"Bo doesnt have that aggression and i can just see him losing an actionless 3-2 type match to a more defensive guy. 1 treep2000 reacted to this
